Job: Account Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our law firm as an Account Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial management and operations of the firm, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and collaborating with legal professionals to meet clients' needs effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Description


  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, and invoicing.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.

  • Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to assist in strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and clients to address financial inquiries and provide insights on financial matters.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial data for legal cases and client contracts.

  • Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Stay up-to-date with financial and legal industry trends to provide informed financial advice.

  • Support the firm's financial team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects.


  • High Vocational Announcement or equivalent; additional account or finance training or certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a account associate or in a similar role within a law firm environment.

  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, document formatting, and court filing procedures.

  • Proficiency in using legal software applications, document management systems, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with legal research tools and databases is a plus.
