With a strong background in biology, Salil specializes in patent prosecution and serves as a key technical advisor for complex, science-related litigation matters. Her dual strengths in science and law allow her to bridge technical precision and legal strategy in high-stakes patent and regulatory disputes.

Her IP practice spans the full patent lifecycle—from conducting prior art and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches to drafting patent specifications and providing infringement and invalidation analyses. Salil plays a crucial role in the firm’s litigation team, supporting contentious matters involving pharmaceuticals, chemicals, packaging, and biotechnology. She has extensive experience coordinating expert witnesses, overseeing lab testing, and interpreting scientific data to build compelling technical narratives for litigation.

In addition to her legal expertise, Salil now leads the firm’s administrative and operational functions as Operations Manager. In this role, she ensures the seamless functioning of the firm’s internal systems, including human resources, accounting and finance, office facilities, and day-to-day operations. Before joining Lexpertise, Salil worked at a leading regional law firm, handling a broad range of patent matters including prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. She also served as an IP management expert at a major Thai packaging company with a sustainability focus, where she contributed to developing the company’s patent portfolio and innovation roadmap.
