Vira Kammee is Of Counsel at Lexpertise Law Firm and a highly respected litigator with more than three decades of experience in complex dispute resolution. He is widely recognised for his extensive courtroom advocacy and strategic handling of high-value and sensitive matters across multiple areas of Thai law.

Vira’s practice spans criminal, civil, administrative, bankruptcy and business reorganisation, corporate, banking and finance, as well as real estate development and construction disputes. He regularly appears as lead counsel before the Court of Justice and the Administrative Court, representing both Thai and international clients in significant corporate and commercial disputes. His work is defined by thorough preparation, strong command of procedural strategy, and a deep understanding of the commercial realities underlying each case.

Prior to joining Lexpertise, Vira was a founding partner of SCL Law Group, now known as SCL Nishimura & Asahi, where he played a central role in leading the firm’s dispute resolution practice. Earlier in his career, he served as a partner and member of the Litigation & Arbitration Department at International Legal Counsellors Thailand Ltd. (ILCT). In that role, he represented multinational corporations, financial institutions, and leading Thai enterprises in complex litigation and arbitration, advising on high-value corporate and commercial disputes as well as strategically sensitive regulatory and cross-border matters.

In addition to his dispute practice, Vira has extensive experience advising on sophisticated real estate transactions, particularly those involving regulatory issues, foreign business restrictions, and cross-border joint venture structures. He is frequently invited to speak at conferences in Thailand and abroad on topics such as business reorganisation, compliance with the Foreign Business Act, real estate law, and dispute resolution.

Vira has also contributed significantly to legal education and professional development in Thailand. He has served as a lecturer at the Institute of Advocacy Training of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and at the Faculty of Law, Bangkok University. He has held various advisory and committee roles, including serving as a permanent honorary advisor to a Senate committee, chairman of the LAW Magazine Committee of the Thammasat University Law Association, chairman of the Legal Standing Committee of the Football Association of Thailand, and member of the Appeals Committee of the Thai Premier League.

He holds an LL.B. from Thammasat University, a Barrister-at-Law qualification from the Thai Bar Association, and a Certificate in International and Comparative Law from the International and Comparative Law Centre, The Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas, Texas, USA. He also holds a Diploma in Economics from Putney College, London.
