Lexpertise Law Firm is pleased to announce our contribution to the Thailand chapter of the International Comparative Legal Guides (ICLG) 2026 : Copyright Laws and Regulations.

Authored by Mr. Nandana Indananda, Mr. Manaswee Wongsuryrat, and Ms. Ploynapa Julagasigorn, the chapter provides an in-depth overview of Thailand’s copyright landscape, addressing key issues such as copyright subsistence, ownership, exploitation, owners’ rights, and enforcement mechanisms. It also examines Thailand’s current developments in copyright legislation, including amendments to align the law with the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (WPPT) and the draft Remuneration Collection Act, both of which could significantly reform Thailand’s copyright and performers’ rights framework and influence the future direction of the media and creative industries.
